Our Mission
To empower vulnerable communities, women and children through health, education, research and community-driven development.
About Us
Global Community Change and Development Initiative (GCCDI) is a non-governmental organization committed to improving the health, wellbeing, dignity and resilience of vulnerable communities, with particular attention to women and children.
Who We Are
We believe that sustainable change begins when communities are listened to, involved and supported to identify and address the challenges that affect their lives.
Our work brings together health, education, research and community-driven development to develop practical initiatives that respond to real community needs.
We work with communities, government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, schools, health facilities and other stakeholders to promote healthier and stronger communities.
To empower vulnerable communities, women and children through health, education, research and community-driven development.
A future where women, children and vulnerable communities are healthy, informed, protected and empowered to reach their full potential.
Our Values
We listen to communities and involve them in identifying priorities and developing solutions.
We respect the dignity, rights and diversity of every person we serve.
We use research, data and community knowledge to guide our programmes and improve our work.
We are committed to responsible, transparent and ethical practice.
We support solutions that can create lasting benefits beyond individual projects.
We believe meaningful change is stronger when communities and organizations work together.

Current stage: GCCDI is currently developing its programmes and building partnerships with communities and stakeholders. The images below are illustrative of the kinds of communities and activities our programmes are designed to support — they are not photographs of GCCDI activities. When we have real programme photographs, taken with appropriate consent, we will replace them here.

Every contribution — money, time or partnership — helps us develop programmes for women, children and vulnerable families.
